Jason Daniel Jones, 38, of Farmland, IN passed away from liver failure on December 12, 2018. Born on June 30, 1980 in New Orleans, Louisiana, he graduated from Belle Chasse High School in 1998. Jason proudly served in both the US Air Force and the Louisiana Army National Guard; for a total 13 years of military service.
He is survived by his daughter, Bryanna Arnett and son Daniel Jones; grandson, Zayne Fuller; parents, LtCol Scott and Carrie Jones; sister, Stephanie Jones and brother, Jeremy Jones (Theresa) and nephew, Christopher Tobin Jr.; life partner, Mary Burton and her grandchildren, Eli and Rebeccah; grandmother, Dora J. Young; and the mother of his children, Julie Jones; and many other family members and friends.
A Celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, December 18th 1pm-3pm at American Legion Hall 7738 IN. Hwy. 32, Farmland, IN. 47340. Immediately following the memorial everyone is invited to the home of Scott & Carrie Jones at 9496 W 400 N, Farmland for a cookout – one of Jason’s favorite past-times.
In line with Jason’s strong feelings about organ donation, his final gift of life was being a donor. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the Stephanie Jones Lung Transplant Fund.
